Where do I find my balance in the traderoom?

Finding the balance on the Metatrader 4/MT4 platform

Markets.Online offers the world-renowned Metatrader 4 or MT4 trading platform to trade assets such as Forex, Stocks and Commodities. Traders prefer using the MT4 platform due to its top-notch features and user-friendliness that get the job done easily.

Its simple layout makes finding anything a breeze. But in case you’re having any issues finding your balance, you should be able to find it after reading this. So let’s get started.

Web-based MT4 trading Platform:

Once you’re logged in your MT4 account, you will find all the required information in the “Terminal Window” at the bottom of the trading platform.

Desktop MT4 Trading Platform:

Similar to the Web-based trading platform, you will find a “Terminal Window” where all the required information regarding your account balance is available.

Mobile MetaTrader 4 platform:

It’s a little bit trickier to find your balance on the mobile app so follow the steps below closely.

  1. Balance:
    The balance shows closed positions profit/loss.
  2. Credit:
    Credit refers to the total amount of money a trader has in his/her account without the profits made.
    Credit = Equity – Balance
  3. Equity:
    Equity refers to the trader’s account balance plus the floating profit/loss of open positions.
    Equity = Balance + Floating Profit/Loss
  4. Free Margin:
    It is the difference between a trader’s equity and the open positions’ required margin.
    Free Margin = Equity – Required Margin for open positions.
